PILYA 22

FIRST PREVIOUS NEXT HOME

Another monster I encountered in the quest is the Worm Queen. All I can say is she's got a big useless mouth, she's ugly and she's terribly, pitiably blind. And very easy to dispatch, apparently.

There are 6 professions you can choose from: Warrior, Ranger, Monk, Mesmer, Necromancer, and Elementalist. After choosing one, you go on to little quests that are a lot of fun. Then along the way you are asked to choose a secondary profession. You can choose right away, or you can take your time. I found out the hard way that I should have taken my time though, for as soon as I chose one I can't go back and change it as easily. And that I can't train on the secondaries I already turned down if I already started training on another.

Oh, and if any of you don't know it yet, there's a river drake that's on the left side of the gate of Pre-searing Ascalon, behind the healing fountain(with Lina the healer). Drake's are hella difficult to defeat, so you gotta be really ready to take them on, but I hear the payback's worth it. I'll find out for myself...

Greendot sent me :) My Guild Wars IGN is Kaeli Stormborn. Greendot told me that you were interested in dyes so I thought this may interest you:

http://armageddon.tpon.net/images/guildwars/colors/allcolors.htm

It's basically a color wheel for mixing dyes. You may find it useful.

If you're ever online, don't hesitate to send me a message. :)

Don't get too carried away with the dyes early on, you will get a lot of new armor before the game is through. There's the 1.5k armor at Droknar's which has the best stats, but there's also the 15k (that's 15k per piece of armor not for a set) armor and the very expensive Fissure Of Woe armor (I think it costs around 400k for a set).

In between, there are around 4 or 5 sets that you can buy from the towns along the way. :)
