Ok, Saturday...

umm, I finally finished Nox (darn, that Hecubah is hard to kill!). And starting the play the other two stories. I also got a text from Ching who said she wants to buy 20 copies of my comics in color to give away to her friends for the holiday season as gifts. I offered to print colored covers in my printer and sell the books at PhP50 each.

I went out today and bought metallic paper to print my covers on and I am now working on churning out indies with colored copies, hopefully in time for the laguna Komikero meeting tomorrow at 2pm!


I'm still working on my G-force costume to cosplay at the coming c3con! So far I have the red/white striped pants, leather boots, and a red t-shirt. I'm still figuring out how to color the black and white parts of the shirt, and I still have to buy materials to make the transmute bracelet.

Okay... what did we do last Friday? Ummm, not much?

NOT! Beya saw on TV while my bro Allan was watching the local cable channel a feature about DIOKO RESORT AND BUTTERFLY FARM located right here in San Joaquin, San Pablo City! She got so excited she wants us all to check it out right away!

And as luck would have it, our driver Nonoy had nothing to do because he took the day off so he could get registered as a voter but the office denied him to prioritize newbies.

So soon enough we're on our way through rough roads(and I mean ROUGH! Not for cars with lowered engines!) expecting to see a butterfly farm but half-afraid we'd be disappointed to see a lousy resort with a few dead insects in frames.

Well, what the hey! The first thing we saw as we drove up inside are ostriches!

Friggin' OSTRICHES running around in their cages! They huge! and I gotta admit kinda scary. After we made sure the cages are secure we snapped pics. I'll upload the pics when they get developed :) the film's supposed to be for the butterflies but there we were snapping away at peacocks, snakes, deers, wild cats, kangaroos, eagles, falcon, monkeysand lots of other animals.

And that is only on our way to the frickin' buttefly farm. We found a few swimming pools. And we passed through a cute little garden to get to the entrance to the farm. When asked for tickets we asked Nonoy to run and get tickets for all six of us (Mamy, Beya, Allan, me, Wanwan, Nonoy and Mikko(he's free :p). A ticket costs PhP40 for grown-ups, PhP20 for kids.

after the cute garden we saw... dead insects in frames. But lo and behold! What's behind door number 2?! after pushing through plastic curtains we're in! Butterfly Farm! We're surrounded with flitting, floating butterflies! wan kept squaling and laughing because they tickle when they rest on our bare skin. wan's wearing a sleeveless and skirt so yes, she's the noisiest among us :)

We took our time taking in all the different kinds of butterflies and flowers. The variety isn't as big as any butterfly encyclopedia, but their sheer number is enough to make you want to stand still just long enough for one of them to rest on you. And in the middle is pretty fish pond full of colorful japanese carp.

we just followed the zigzag path inside the garden and soon we made our way out because they butterflies are starting to freak wanwan and allan out("geez! get offa me already!!!")... heheheh!

And when we got out we found a playground and took the liberty of making fools of ourselves by playing like kids(good thing the film ran out halfway through the butterfly farm). I nudged my way down slides, rode the swings til I rocked the poor foundations and see-sawed until it nearly broke under our extreme weight!

after that we walked around the resort and found more swimming pools. the place was nearly empty (duh! why else would we play in the playground?!) as we pester the employees there about cottage rates and stuff. entrance fee for the resort is PhP70 i think. a room with 3 beds and an aircon and a full bath is maybe PhP1200.

soon after we made our way home and stopped by Folcon's Bakery and coffee shop along Maharlika Hi-Way to buy pastries. And it's day well-spent :)

here's hoping I get that ePLDT job

just finished second interview. It was as fun as last time. I talked with their Developers Team as well. I wonder when I could get to have the final interview though

after that i went(and got lost on the way) to rockwell, powerplant mall, kingfisher restaurant for my mom's uncle's book lanuching of his eighth religious book "Hardin ng Panalangin Book 8".

Lolo Pros (Proceso Marcelo) a radio announcer/pastor for the DZAS AM station. His son (bale my uncle) Junjee Marcelo wrote songs for Gary Valenciano and won a Metropop sonf festival years ago :) I'll post pics when they get developed.

Yesterday was a wonder-FULL day for me!

I got to get out of the house (finally) NOT to go mind the store or run errands, but to actually go out to Manila for a job interview at Boni Avenue!

I got there and made to answer two essay-type questions which I finished early enough to meet with friends Cathy and Derrick(guy in photo below, yep: leftmost one) in glorietta!

We all met in Timezone at G4 and we stopped by Subway to get lunch while Cathy orders water because she already had a big breakfast :) after that she took us to Landmark to help me find clothes for my cosplay.

After that I went back to Boni to continue my tests for my job hunting. I answered non-verbal and verbal tests as well math and personality. I finished them all before the guy who came before me did.

After I submitted my test papers they called me back to decrease my answers for the personality test. When I did I saw that the previous tests have scores and they're pretty high, though I'm still a bit disappointed that there is a mistake or two, for I prefer having perfect scores.

After that I went back to Makati and had my resume photocopied because ePLDT wanted 3 copies of it when I show them my portfolio. The interview was fun and spontaneous.

We all joked around as I was interviewed by three pretty chinese girls and an artist guy and they even asked me to make a doodle for them, which I gamely did with chibi renditions of them. When the interview was over I thought it was too fast compared to the all-day I went through at Boni.

As I wondered if I said anything wrong at the interview at ePLDT (is it when they asked if I watch Meteor Graden?), I went on to meet Rolynelle's friend who's needing a background artist. He's kinda cute. But he already has a girlfriend hahaha!

Anyway the gig sounds exciting, but he may not be able to pay me as much as I'd need to be paid. I'll see if I can give the project a shot. As much as I'm interested, I'm already taking plenty of 'charity jobs' (gigs I do not do for the money, but because I know they need my help even if they can't afford it) as it is.

If I can't take this one in I'll recommend other artists and help in any other way I can :)

update: ePLDT called today! Their boss wants to talk to me tomorrow 11am! So it's not the Meteor Garden after all! Ahehehe, hope this works out... this one sounds good :D

Wow, then I'll go to my Lolo Pros' book launching of his 8th "Hardin ng Panalangin" book at Kingfisher in Rockwell at 6pm tomorrow! Wheeeeee!

heheh, yeah. I'm playing nox as a conjurer. And during the day I mind the store sespecially now that we're having our second garage sale.

check it out! we have working washing machines costing a thousand or two (we bought a new one with a dryer na kasi. long story), old clothes (if you're into retro you can get em at ten bucks a piece), old shoes (too many shoes), old mags(cosmo, ym, etc from PhP5 to PhP20). And accessories like fancy rings and necklaces at PhP1 each.

And we still sell food.

I'm deciding between Warcraft3: Frozen Throne or Tomb Raider III.

Given a choice, I'd love to play Frozen Throne because I already played Reign of Chaos and enjoyed it immensely. Problem is the stupid game won't run. My PC hangs everytime it shows the menu.

So I'm sort of forced to play Tomb Raider 3. As much as I enjoy watching the hot Lara Croft running around, it could only entertain for so long. First-person games aren't exactly my favorite, besides the fact that a friend told me it's the hardest Tomb Raider game ever!

I'll try installing Warcraft3 again one last time. If it still doen't work I'm going back to Lara. I'm beginning to enjoy finding secret areas in her mansion ;)

I went to Ortigas last Thursday to meet someone. After that I went to Comic Quest to propose a consignment. When the ladies there told me I had to bring a letter first and have it approved before it can be decided whether I can sell my indies there I rushed off to look for a PC place where I can type and print out the dang letter.

Luckily I found Pacific Internet Cafe at the Cyberzone in Megamall. As soon as I had the letter printed I ran back down to basement where Comic Quest is. Thankfully the owner Mike Simbulan was there, for he is very easy to talk with. I gave him my letter and 10 copies and told him that it's ok to start selling as soon as his office approves. He told me I can call Monday to know how it turns out.

After that I looked for Comics Central Headquarters (CCHQ) along Katipunan, Diliman. My thanks to Sherry Baet, Joanah Tinio, Claire Villacorta and all my other friends who recommended the place to me. The ladies there are very supportive of indie comics. And they gave me no trouble at all. They just looked through a copy to make sure there's no mature content and agreed then & there to sell. Nice huh? :)

I looked through their Indie Shelf and picked out a P60 indie with a colored cover and another indie called Chop Suey by Claire and Paolo. I wanted to buy a lot of other indies but I didn't that much money at the moment. I'm very happy to see Carpool, Cresci Prophecies and Armor Troopers. After that I went home ;)

How to Get a POSTAL ID
(At least when you're in San Pablo)

(The day before:) Get yer barangay clearance (P20) and sedula(P30?). Have them photocopied. Get at least 3 pieces of 2" x 2" ID pics.

Get yer cute li'l ass to City Post Office by 8:30am. Get an application form, fill it out, stick a pic on the indicated box and stalk yer postman.

ME: (barges at the back of the Post Office) "Which one of you delivers to my area?"
POSTMAN: "...That would be me."

Get him to sign your application form. He told me to have it notarized by a lawyer. I eventually found a notarial service office at the building/house right beside that Big Mac stall in the corner. They charged me P100.

Have the picture-paseted, postman-signatured, lawyer-notarized paper photocopied.

Go back to Post Office. Hand over the oh-so-important paper, its photocopy, the photocopy of your barangay clearance, the photocopy of your sedula, your other 2 pics, and yer money (P150 for the oh-so-important form, P20 for the "documen-chuchu" stamp, P24 for ID lamination).

Wait a while. magpa-kyut. magpahinga dahil sa haba ng nilakad. And maya-maya lang you'll get a brand-spanking new, hot-off-the-laminating-machine POSTAL ID! Wheeeeee!

Sorry the release of my indie was delayed! it's supposed to be out last August 31 but my printer ran out of ink! Then when I had it refilled I canvassed for good photocopying deals. The best deal I got is with this shop that's closed on Sundays. Thankfully I'm free tomorrow saturday to deal with this :)

I didn’t update my blog until I moved the tagboard to someplace more permanent. So there :D

The Campus Tour was a lot of fun. I missed UST so much. And it’s really great to see my friends again. It was pretty amusing when Wilson called out my name across Lacson (formerly known as Forbes Street) because we all thought I couldn’t make it. Ryan was at his usual best teaching the pretty students of UST in a workshop with Wilson. Tintin printed out call cards for us three including her bro John. They look cool! She even modified a pic to make it look like my “jack”(as in “jack&stone”) logo. Syeri sat on my lap when I sat on her chair beside Joanah. The three of us had fun hanging out.

We all had free lunch provided by the UST Commerce event’s organizers. Yummy! We watched Lilo&Stitch as we ate. I felt kinda sad when lunch was over and the movie was not because I never really got to watch that movie. Ever. Derrick went there too and talked mecha with John. He later drove me to the bus terminal when I had to go home to Laguna after lunch. Much appreciated because the bag I was carrying weighed a ton. Hope you guys are doing better now J

I’ve been staying in Manila since September 1 for a sort of project. Tintin is so nice to let me stay at her place! I’m so happy! And her family’s so cool! I’m supposed tp spend twelve days there, meaning two weeks Mondays to Saturdays. But since my dad came home from China also on September 1 and will stay only 2 weeks, I asked to spend the 12 days into 3 Monday-to-Thursday weeks, so I could at least spend Fridays and Saturdays home in Laguna with dad.

Tintin actually let me stay for 2 weeks, bless her! But as I don’t want to abuse her kindness I am looking for another place to stay for my third (and last) week. The best I could find is the old dorm I stayed in Washinton, Makati. They charge P100/day for transients, and if you don’t have an electric fan you don’t have a prayer. It explains why we sometimes walk around half-naked in the dorm. It’s sweltering in there :p

I’m still looking for another place, preferably near LRT Taft. The only other friend who offered a place for me to crash is Azrael. It’s really nice of him, too bad he ain’t a girl ;D

As for the indie, I’ve already printed them out. I just need a clear photocopier, I think they call it powder copies. The best deal I could find is with La Suerte in San Pablo, P1.75 back to back. But they’re closed on Sundays. If they were open I would have been happily photocopying away as I speak. I only hope I could find better deals in Manila. I’m bringing the original printouts there just in case. Joanah mentioned a place in Diliman where it’s P0.60, I wonder though if that’s the back-to-back rate, and if it’s the clear powder copy. Anyway it sounds pretty far.

And one of my clients is asking for a banner quote. I mean they're looking for someone to make them a banner of an ad I made for them. I guess the proportions are like that of an A3. And send it to Hong Kong. If you're interested to take this on email me at jactinglim@yahoo.com

I jokingly made a deal with Wilson Tortosa that I'd cosplay as Princess if I get an autographed copy of BOTP issue 1.

Next thing I know he's reserving a copy of Issue 1 for me, insisting that "the resemblance is striking".

...I wonder why he said that?

I think I'm in trouble :) but hey, if I get to pull it off, not only do I get to finally cosplay like I always wanted to, I also get to have a free autographed copy of Wilson's BOTP Issue one! WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!

We went shopping for groceries at the South Supermarket. There I saw some ballpools for sale. Remembering the time Beya told us about how Mikko loved playing in it once, I pointed it out to her. Eventually she had me take it down from the display. When we set it down to the floor Mikko immediately climbed in and settled himself inside. There was only one ball out that time, but he kept doing his loud babytalk(whenever he's really excited) and kept tossing that ball, smiling to everyone who looks in.

So yeah, she bought that overpriced sh-.. ahem, toy. Mikko looked devastated when he saw the assistant put it away in a box and left. the rest of the time as we punched it out in at the cashier Mikko was unusually quiet and subdued, in contrast to his previous hyperactivity. Before he saw the ballpool he was walking all over the grocery, even insisting to enter the warehouse parts! Of course, in the process he's making everyone melt: "Awww! Look! Baby!!! What's your name widdle..?"

Yep, he was even quiet on the way home. So we decided to set up the ballpool when we got to the sala. As soon as mikko saw the pool he kept chasing Beya even she's barely starting to set it up. it was a funny scene watching them go round and round the sala with beya clutching the Pool. Eventually we set it up. He climbed in. And we poured in the balls. he was sitting there squealing at maximum volume throwing all these balls in the air.

When he paused to rest, we suggested maybe he needs a playmate inside.
"Like hell I'm going in there! I'm too frickin' tall!"
"Well, who's the next youngest ampng us?"
"Hey Wan! Get in there!"
"Very funny!"

I submitted DRIFTER for print. They'll be releasing it at the Wizard World Chicago :)

SOBE Night

As we did the last cycle of our laundry, Beya had this bright idea to go to Sobe. She's been wanting to go there way before, like since it opened, but we never got around to it. So i guess after wanwan's been going there so often the Sobe people practically knows her, only now have thought about going there ourselves.

As usual whenever we have a 'family outing', we were bickering like hell while we prepared to go.

"I don't feel like going!"
"I'm hungry!"
"Change your outfit!"
"Your fashion sense sucks!"
"Like hell you're wearing those shoes with that blouse!"
"Like hell YOU"RE going out dressed half-covered like that!"

It didn't reach to the point where we'd bust out our kungfu half naked, but it did reach to the point that one of us walked out and dressed back to houseclothes because of all the arguing. But I talked her out of it and eventually we were out the door. I was actually the one who doesn't feel like going, but I realized Beya wants to at least see inside Sobe. And honestly, so do I. So we went.

We got there joking around that she should start working in Sobe because she hangs out there so often. The reason I didn't feel like going was because I was hungry and i thought they're only gonna try the booze. I was happy when I heard we're trying out the food there. Wan kept raving about the sisig. She said it's tastes so good because it tastes jut like the sisig she cooks herself. When I said I don't eat sisig they just said, "You will."

Being the adventurous girl that I am, I was relieved when Beya ordered some tenderloin tips, "just in case". She ordered iced tea. Wan ordered San Mig Lite for us. When the food came after the booze, Wan set herself to work 'improving' the sisig, then made sure to put some of her finished masterpiece onto my plate. I managed to eat it when I combine it with the steak. And of course, she's happy I tried it, because I rarely try out new food. I just said it's because she 'made' it.

And of course by the time we got to the second round of San Mig Light, we started talking about... stuff. About how Wan is enjoying being a single girl, and Beya worrying about being a single parent, and their worrying about me being single until I'm all old and wrinkly. That is, if I ever live that long.

We congratulated was for her re-entry to freedom, then reassured Beya that Mikko will have a father figure when he needs one. Then they busted my balls (er, well, if i have any) for being so damn grouchy and deliberately making myself look uglier and more masculine. They resolved to wanwan taking me shopping. I honestly would rather spend my hard-earned money to PC upgrades than on those flimsy pieces of fabrics they insist I wear, but they won't hear of it.

We also ordered nachos because I love salsa. As the plates and booze piled onto our table, us three girls reassured each other that we'll take home anything that we can't eat anymore.

We must be really hungry doing the laundry and stuff: we cleaned our plates. mamy would have been proud. We asked for the bill. They asked me how much money I brought. Wan said she has a hundred. I said "Almost a hundred." They both fell off their seats (um, not literally, it would be embarassing if it were) and looked at me suspiciously when I put away my plate to make space for all the food.

"Whew! I thought you're gonna go to the kitchen!"
"Oh sure, like I'm gonna put on an apron and say 'Whaaaaat? You expect me to pay for that overpriced shit?"
"You try that and I can never be able to show my face here again!"

When the bill came I handed over a P500 from my secret stash (no, I'm NOT gonna tell you if it's hidden inside my bra. Besides, I wasn't wearing one at the time) and they were relieved. Beya gave me P300 to shoulder almost half the bill, then took care of the rest. We're home by 11pm and we told mamy all about it. Wan promised to take her there next time, since she loves trying out new resturants.

Okay, i made a new layout for my indie. it' gonna be 16-pages. it's packed full of comic strips. I'm gonna walk around San Pablo to canvass for materials. Gerry and the other komikeros are very helpful :)

I found a buyer for my Nokia 3310 so I have a new cellphone! Wheeee! It's a Nokia 3315! And when I bought the new unit in Zaide (that big store near Expressions in SP Mall) they let me sit down in their PC so I could draw my own logo. They liked it so much they all wanted it for their logos too! Cool! i made that logo because it's the title of a comics I made in Beho's zine Thought Market. I told you about it before ;)

i talked to one of my people to find people who would keep the orange kitten. I think they found someone to keep it. it's gone now.

I plan to draw cover art for my first indie. still not sure how many pages a P20 indie should be. i'm gonna stuff it with about 20 strips. And maybe a few extras if there are blank pages left. the layout's kinda hokey because i'm pasting 2 strips vertically on every page. so people would have to tilt the book to read them. But I want to publish the strips as big as possible. I don't wanna reduce them to anything smaller because some people would have a hard time reading the small text.

I'm gonna watch Ranma 1/2 at 4pm everyday so I don't have to miss its daily second episode at 7:30pm when gundamwing starts!

I found the orange kitten. it's still alive after all, and it's now wide-eyed and curious =O.O= mew!

I'm doing the second draft of my first strip publication. I'm going for less pages so I can lower the price to P20 to sell this december! wheeeee!

Toy Con was awesome!!!!

I was asked a month ago by dady Az if I would like a gig there. All I could think of offering is drawing. So he announced me as caricature artist along with the other guys in the booth (I didn't see the henna girl tho).

As I left at 9am for Megamall I was apprehensive because I was afraid I'd just be wasting my money on the bus fares only to end up sitting on my buttn all day. But I consoled myself with the thought of spending my idle time buying all the comics and other stuff I'd like, limited as my budget was.

As soon as I met with Az (yes, I got lost. Again.) I voiced my fears of not being up for the job. Being the good friend that he is, he told me to stop being ridiculous (joke!).

I went in the toycon and made one solid go-around in the tiny room (jeepers! I thought it's gonna be held at megatrade hall???). I was ready to buy culture crash 11, especially when az told me that macopa fanart I sent ages ago is finally getting published. But the guys there don't have change for a hundred. I planned to come back for it as soon as I'm idle :)

I got back to the booth to rest and recollect my senses after I got tired from my 2 hour bus jouney. But soon enough I was surprised to find this chinese guy asking me draw his daughter. oh, I get it. I babysit while he shops for toys :) but the girl refuses to be left by her dad. I talked to her in all the chinese i know. It seemed to calm her little. and the father was amused enough to ask me if I'm chinese. finally i decided to make a quick pencil capture of the girl's features so she can go around the con with her dad, and they can come back for it when I'm done with inks and cleanups.

They were happy with the results. And I was surprised. I made a few mistakes, but i fixed them. and others who gathered to watch me draw started asking. I got a scrap paper and wrote "Comix Caricatures, P100 Whole, P50 Half size". This woman was excited as she took her turn and looked through my portfolio. When she saw a winged comix character there she asked if I could draw her wings. I smiled and asked if she'd like a costume with that. She thought for a while and decided to draw her with wings, and wearing a bikini(!). I had no problems with that because she's quite a babe, and it won't be much of a stretch at all :)

As I drew her more people gathered when they realized I could draw them any way they want. The girl was very pleased with the "bikini-clad angel" she gave me a picture of her with three of her girlfriends and asked me draw more. after that She made me draw her and her guy friend who was with her. I drew them in matrix-style costumes.

I was pretty glad realizing I just earned P300 when other people took pictures out of their wallets and lined them up for me for their turns. The girl who bought 3 drawings gave me french fries compliments of her guy friend because they know I still haven't had lunch. Dady Az gave me a much-appreciated iced tea, while I swiped a brownie from my katabi gerry(joke!) while carlo authographed my copy of zsa zsa zaturnnah. I'm suddenly glad I had that chickenjoy meal for breakfast that morning. I plan to get lunch as soon as I get a lull. meaning if i finished the last drawing without the next customer.

Next thing I know it was 7pm. I finally let my friends talk me into getting lunch when my next customer said he could wait until the toy con closes, since he's one of the organizers. I got back to do the drawing just in time for the toy con to end. other people expressed their disappointment when I told them I can't draw anymore as the toy con has ended.

Lots of people asked for my business crads until I ran out of them. There's even one from Coca-Cola daw who took my email because she wants to contact me. Other people took my mail/business cards since they plan to just send their pics online for me to draw them after the toy con. Az said I'm gonna do this again in the next c3con in megatrade hall :)

Guys, sorry about the rants. Some people just don't get it. I'll try to stop ranting and hopefully start posting works again :)

As soon as I download that FTP program from Gerry (my thanks, as always! :) and installed I'll be back in business!

Guys, I appreciate the effort, but I'm afraid you're just wasting your load. I NEVER reply to forwards. I barely even read them. I just open the message then see it's a forward graphics/quotations/joke and I immediately delete it. You'd have a better chance of me replying to you (and sometimes even saving your message in my inbox) if you would text me in your own words :)

There are guys who um, what's the right word? well, i feel like they're pursuing me. when i'm clearly not interested. i'm just not. sorry. But they just don't get the hint. however much i ignore them and stuff. i really hate doing this because they are friends to me, but if they want more than my friendship, or they make me feel like they do, it seems i have to :( ....I already love someone.

By the way, as I am typing there is a tiny orange kitten sleeping beside the phone. I have no idea why Bilog (its mother, my cat) left it there, and why she brought it there in the first place. I'm worried that she's ignoring her kits, as the other already died. I don't know what to do. I wanted to call Gerry about this, but he may still be a bit sad over Smeagol.

My PC is still driving me nuts. I barely slept last night because I kept getting nightmares about it. Oh well, at least I already submitted ning's fourth strip. So what do I work on next? Hot copy?

Sunday was great! We had our Komikero meeting that’s supposed to be monthly(but we were too busy to meet last May). They had this trekkie night going on, but I’m only interested to watch whenever that babe T’pol appears on-screen. Kuya Gerry made this incredibly yummy pesto. I HAD to get second helpings! Oh, and we drew comix again :)

WARNING! Rant ahead:

I’m getting sick and tired of “friends” who are actually after something more than friendship. Something more than I can give. It’s like they have this hidden agenda that, however obvious it is or ill-hidden, I cannot point out. Not unless I’m a terrible bitch. Which, as much as some people strongly claim and believe so, I am (unfortunately!)not.

What’s more, it is saddening for me to realize that the people I thought were my friends actually see me as nothing more than a trophy. A challenge. A prize. A game for their stupid egos. Does it make your life more interesting? Hey, you can’t lose! I give in, you get your trophy. I don’t, you get your own version of Wasted. Cool!

Okie, that over and done with, let’s move on to chain letters! I suppose you’ve already read about this in Gerry Alanguilan’s blog, but I personally hate chain letters that threaten you if you don’t forward their stupid email. I’m not saying the people who forwarded me those emails are stupid. I’m saying the email is.

And I also get offended by emails with gory picture attachments. The first time I actually replied to a Forward(I usually just delete Forwards without reading them, emails and texts alike) was when someone sent me those pictures about a kid getting swallowed by this big boa constrictor. Next time, just send me anime hentai pictures instead!

Just kidding ;)

But if I get fed up with this(it’s MY turn to threaten!), I’m gonna send out to everyone pictures of the LOTR charas getting it on! If only to vent my annoyance about my Legolas being called gay. Of course, I’d be snapped back to my senses if someone retaliates by sending me doctored pics of the F4 portrayed as gay people.

I went with my sis Beya and her son Mikko to meet with some moms she met online through a parents' mailing list. They were only three of them residing in San Pablo, but I guess we're all still excited to meet each other. They included me since I posted a comic strip in the mailing list featuring one of the wacky/cool parents :)

After that I watched over Mikko as I took him to his first romp inside the playland. one of the moms we met with told her 3-yr old son to watch over mikko inside the playland. It was amusing how he watched over him! He even talked with the other kids to play carefully so that mikko doesn't get hurt. My thanks to Cyd and JC! Mikko had a great time, with all the other kids playing and watching him.

Okie, saturday night again. meaning Booze Bonding Night! well, it's not literally booze, but we drink soda or whatever and eat junkfood and other pulutan as we talk about what went on with all of us the past week. Bond. Dad suggested it, he said it might do us good :)

I got to meet with Lyn today! whee! She introduced me to her two younger sisters, a cousin and a friend of her sister's, then we all went off to play billiards. We let the guys play against each other, because we have zero chance against them. The three girls never played billiards before and it's been ages since I last held a cue stick.

After the guys' game, Lyn and I teamed up against her two sisters in a game of solid/stripes. Whenever we get the chance to place the white ball anywhere we want I teach Lyn on how to sink our ball without getting the white ball to sink with it. It's probably the only thing I actually learned since Derrick tried to teach me the tricks of the game. But as soon as she got it she started teaching her sisters the trick, and we started enjoying the game. But we were already having before that because we're all so hyper and wouldn't stop distracting each other with our kakulitans! hehehe!

After that we went to their house to watch Meteor Garden! Heheheheh! While we watched we chatted over Coke and texted our respective boytoys hehehehehe joke! We wish! ;D And later her mom served us baked mac for merienda. With lots of Coke. Mmmm GMO! Heheheheh ;D

When my sis texted me to go home around 8pm I asked her mom if I could take some of the baked mac because my mom wants a sample tpo consider making them part of our catering service. When she agreed I suggested she draw up a price list so we can see if we can work something out :) In the house I met two more of Lyn's friends, her high school friend Aries Esmeña (Arch. Arlan's younger bro. Small world huh, Gerry?) and April, her neighbor. It's amusing how Lyn, Aris and I all have the same degree of wackiness and wear astigmatism glasses. I'm already suggesting calling ourselves Grupong Astig or just plain ol' Stigma. Hehehehe!

Aris used the car to give me a ride home where Lyn and April walked me to the gate. As usual they get shocked at how big it is and how I can open it by myself. I joked that it's part of my kung fu training. hehehe! When I went home Ma enjoyed the baked mac :) I asked if I could borrow the electric drill for Lyn. She said she has to ask dad. Anyway, I'm glad I got in touch with her. I missed her. I rarely find girls I get along with. And i'm kinda excited when she offered to take me along whn she has gimiks again. It's been so long since I went on a night out. I'm still against smoking though, but I try not to force others to stop either. There isn't much I can do anyway. I just hope they already know the risks.

Because there isn't enough 'hanging space', we decided to do laundry twice a week. We started up the washing machine and separated the laundry: Dirty, Very Dirty, and Downright Skanky!!! Heheheheh joke ;D

Wheeee! I sold two copies of Animatrix so far! One to Jonas and another to Beho. I'm currently following up a third sale with Pong, but I couldn't get a hold of him lately. Anyway, on my way to the tindahan I bumped into (no, not literally!) one of our tindahan regulars, and he greeted me, asking me where I'm going. Duh! Where else would I be going? hehehe, but who cares?! He's a bishie! Wheee! An honest-to-goodness, tall-dark-and-handsome bishounen!!! Heheheh, he even got the long hair just right! Typical Meteor Garden(yeah, so shoot me!) heeheeheehee! He's one of these guys who hangs out at Oblena's, which is just near the corner of our block :)

Lyn, my friend since elementary, was supposed to meet me today at the tindahan. So I thought They could get to see each other again. Unfortunately she couldn't make it today because her house received guests. I got her to talk with beho on the phone and then we decided to meet up tomorrow :) beho told me about his triathlon trip to zambales.hm, still not sure if he'll attend the komikero meeting this sunday. I just told him to let any one of them (him or his brothers) drop by.

So, it's an ok day, al in all :) wheeee!

yep, that's how my desktop looks these days. And don't make me go about when I try to use it. It took me an hour since I turned the pc on just to get online! I think it only worked by my sheer mental will. This keeps up, either I go crazy or develop mutant powers that enables me to make machines work when i mentally beg for it. That's how I use my cellphone too. It's battery and keypad are going nuts.

Sigh, technology.
