Well if you don't have enough jobs to keep you busy, take a minute out of your whatever and send me a damn sample so i can see if i want to hire you on as a penciler. Not to be rude, kid, but don't tell me to go to a site to see a...um, sight. Show me a page of panel work and a cover sample and then we'll talk.

Until then....

Hi there. I am pleased that you decided me worthy of interest. I can relate to your dilemna. I always come up with scripts and the like, hammer them out, and then have to deal with nothing left to do. I am also going to express how happy I am that such a beautiful young woman decided that I might be an option. You're actually the first woman to respond to my post. I am currently working on about nine titles I want to put out and there is a tenth that I submitted to Marvel Comics' EPIC imprint.

Hi,
I just got finished looking at your online art and although I realy liked it I didn't see anyting that would wuggest you would be right for the feel of what I'm trying to do. I'm looking for someone with a real edge, real dark type stuff. If you're capable of this kind of style then by all means get back to me with some samples and I'll be glad to take a look at them.

Thanks,

First up I have found my artist, but I have future projects coming.....And I am glad to see more female artists, so when the next one comes up. You will be the first on my list to get it.

Hey there--

Your art's sweet, I must say, especially body language and technical drafting. Plus the male lead in Asian Girl looks like one of the characters in my comic (were you using Chris Klein as reference by any chance?)

BUT... (and there's always a but)

I think I found my artist already. I'm going to keep your email handy just in case it falls through, but for right now, I'm consigned to him unless you hear otherwise from me.

Best of luck, and thanks for the samples.

Thank you for your interest in Deadboy Press, unfortunately your art does not fit the positions we advertised. I’m very sorry but we are looking for something very specific. Thanks for your time.

Thank you for responding to my ad.

Unfortunately, as I can tell you are a good, hardworking artist, I am currently much too busy to start on anything new. I have already chosen an artist out of the many who responded to the same ad, and I'm head over heels with work (writing two comics, a possible 3rd, and chief script designer for an upcoming RPG).

I would though like to keep in contact with you, I wouldn't mind hiring you to work on some of my side jobs. I will keep in touch when the time is right.

Have a great day, and keep up the good work!

Vember Judgement

PS- Although this may sound a little unprofessional, I think you're a very cute girl. I can't help but to make a compliment^_^.

Jac's note to self: remove pic from online resume. it might be doing more damage than good ^_^;;
